The Allied Health degree program is designed to help prepare students with the appropriate general education and didactic theory for advancing from an Allied Health diploma to an AAS degree. As a student, you can learn from a variety of general education and core courses in the Allied Health Program.
Allied Health Program curriculum:
- Healthcare Management , offering an understanding of healthcare business office skills. Personnel management, risk management and financial administration are covered. This course can help students gain an understanding of how to review and implement healthcare regulations.
- Health and Wellness , an introduction into wellness, including the impact of psychological, emotional and physical heath, as well as environmental influences that affect behavior.
- Introduction to Health Care Infection Control , emphasizing employee and patient safety in healthcare. Students can learn first aid, medical office emergency training, CPR, OSHA and MSDS.

This Allied Health degree program may allow you to transfer credits taken at state-approved Medical Assistant, Massage Therapist, or Medical Billing and Coding diploma programs with a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or better.
